Geographic Location

Naisu is a Northern Ngwi/Loloish language spoken by Hong Yi 红彝 in central Yunnan Province in Wuding, Yongren, Lufeng, and Luquan counties. Lolopo is a Central Ngwi/Loloish language spoken by Bai Yi 白彝 also in the same region in central Yunnan province. Recording was made in Wuding County, Maojie Township, Maojie Village Administration 武定县猫街村委会. The two Naisu wordlist participants are from Maojie Village Administration, Awei'e Village 猫街村委会阿未饿村; the two Lolopo participants are from Maojie Village Administration, Nuozuokuan and Misanzan villages 猫街村委会糯左宽村和咪三咱村
