An Analysis of the Program of International Educational Exchange

Abstract

People today often talk of the world as being small and interdependent. Jet air travel has made it possible to cross continents and oceans in several hours, or maybe a day, but the fact here is that we can claim to have eaten breakfast in New York, lunch in San Francisco, and supper in Hawaii. In a world that is apt to become smaller, more so because we have already seen John Glenn orbit the earth three times in a matter of about four hours, there is much emphasis on cooperation is we wish to live among various and at time conflicting ideologies of life existing today. That we can be linked closely with many different peoples with different backgrounds throughout the world only points to the necessity of such action.
