The huru curse is made from 'hugu' wood and hung in a tree to protect the plantation. It is cut and done in a way following the fingers. Symptoms are, accordingly, blisters/wounds on hands/arms. The cure, in its light state, is chewed areca betel (no extra plant as is common) and simple 'bhulu wa'o' prayer. If the wounds don't become better, and there is swelling, Wora will chew with only kemiri and curcumin – no areca betel – which is really unusual. To find out whose 'huru' it is (the cure) someone should do 'baga' (measuring with hands across arms) before.
