He participated in the Pākōlea basketball program and played in the game room and the swimming pool. Since then, Brother Noland actively gave back to the Kalihi-Pālama community. With his brother, Kumu Hula Tony Conjugacion, he led the Performing Arts Program at Palama Settlement. He organized the Molokaʻi Experience, a cultural interaction between kupuna on Molokaʻi and Pacific Islands youth from Palama Settlement and Lacey, Washington. He founded the annual Brother Noland Goodwill Basketball Tournament at Palama Settlement.
