The comparisons are based on the following components: typology, patterns, variations, associated relationships, techniques (where discernible), and context. The purpose of the study is to test two hypotheses. First, what regional similarities or differneces occur in petroglyph typology, and second, what would these similarities or differneces suggest toward the evolution and decline of petroglyphs in form and function within the aboriginal society.xiv, 120 pagesAll UHM Honors Projects are protected by copyright.
