Description
Genre: Medicine/huru. Maria Weka, kampong Cawalo, Cawalo domain (desa Rokirole), explains her 'huru nggili' ("huru around"). Weka cures the symptoms: sudden fainting, unconsciousness, by aplying a masticated mixture of herbs on the patient's skin. Very ritualistic, like 'huru kena teone' in SD1-187. To find out if the 'huru' is hers. she makes a ritual with a coconut. Also ritual for 'peju', and the patient brings rice, fish or pig. More notes: materials: dhou (forest egg plant), bethu paphune (bamboo bark, talk 'lima'. lae wane meane (on the forehaed only), withi wulune (goat hairs, talk 'lima'). cega (-peju). + kethi (dhe sako wunu, kena wakane, dhou, wetho), hei (dhe cei lolo).
