dc.description.abstractThe process of medical transcription is a major contributor to medical record generation. A better understanding of this process may help to produce more accurate transcriptions in faster turn around time for medical record completion. This study works toward the development of a model of the process of medical transcription based on information gathered through interviews with transcriptionists.
