This talk presents mobile phone app technology, MobileLinguist, developed to support remote fieldwork and community-based language description, documentation, and online presentation. We discuss the software’s interacting components (the mobile app for submitting text, voice, photos and/or videos and a dashboard to assign tasks/present data) and results from several pilot projects.
