Abstract
Description
Land cover change classification from 2001-2014 for Mainland Southeast Asia, covering Laos, Cambodia, Shan State in Myanmar, Northeastern Thailand, Central Vietnam, and Xishuangbanna Prefecture in China. The classification was performed using the random forest classifier using time-series of MODIS EVI and SWIR data from 2001-2014; classification results and sample points are provided. Details on the classification can be found in the publication "The Expansion of tree-based boom crops in Mainland Southeast Asia: 2001-2014". This study was supported by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Land-Cover and Land-Use Change Program (LCLUC) Grant No. NNX14AD87G.
