Abstract
It took me until I was nearly finished with my compliation of poetry to realize what I really wanted to write about. Throughout the writing process, I went through a number of phases, obsessing over subjects from women spies of history to old 18th century women's clothing advertisements. In an attempt to "blue the lines even further" from the misconstrued truths that already exist, I initially started writing about obscure women in history. I wanted my project to comment on the nature of women's history as disjointed from other strands of history, to take into account the lack of information and mystery that surrounds women's history.
