Abstract
Revolutions are fascinating things. They feed on themselves. Those who begin them frequently have no idea where they will end. They are full of paradozes. All that can be said with certainty is that if it is indeed a revolution the landscape over which it has passed will never be quite the same again. The revolution now afoot in social studies education is no exception
