We visited the local whistling Greek diasporic community, impacted by wind generators and migration. Environmental noise and disruption of the natural environment challenge this register's vitality. Questions about adapting language vitality metrics and the role of extra-linguistic factors (e.g., population decline, aging, migration) are raised and discussed.
