Genre: Oral history. Title: Sosu merine. The first recording of a narrative on Palu'e. Sebastianus Sosu (b. 1944), former village head, from kampong Nara, tells about an uncle that served time in jail because he participated in border warfare. Sosu also tells about how children were sold in colonial times (1900s) because of the Dutch-imposed taxes. Cruel punishments for those who did not pay. Recorded by SD with the H4N Zoom, midday 1 Feb 2014. Not yet fully transcribed or translated.
