Brief excerpt from interview: I'm an architecture major and it is recommended for students in architecture, and a lot of students take it. And also I'm interested in Urban Planning . . . I saw the description and I knew people who had taken it before. The Writing Intensive focus fulfillment helped.

This item includes a segment of a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2014, and in this clip the interviewee is responding to the question 'Why did you take this course?'
