Abstract

Brief excerpt from interview: [I took a Hawaiian, Asian, and Pacific Issues class.] It was really interesting, and it definitely made me embrace more of the Hawaiian culture. I went to Maui over Spring Break and that's helped me to embrace Hawaiian culture... The names of the streets is really what got me. [The street names] are more Hawaiian... I really like just trying to read the streets and seeing it all around.
