Brief excerpt from interview: The course dynamic being loose was probably the biggest challenge as well because... you had to identify and find your passion and where you thought you could make a difference. I ended up pairing with a couple students... we ended up working on a modified rain garden to help with the issue of Hawaiʻi's depleting water table.
