Genre: Personal narrative. Theme: Weaving (incl. dye methods). Meti du'a, a grandmother from Mata mere, interviewed by Pitu Sopune in her home 27 Sep -16. Meti is asked to explain the weaving process, beginning with the cotton, which they used to grow, pick, gin and spin by hand. Then Meti tells about the dyeing with indigo, as the base for the main colour, black, which uses 'moro hae', 'langalidhi' and 'loi' tuber, boiled and squeezed, as overdye. And a little more, until the weaving.
