dc.descriptionTun David Sablan talks about his art and his inspirations. He also talks about his childhood and older CHamoru naming conventions. Tun Sablan is a fairly quiet speaker so on the second and following recordings, we set him up on a separate recorder so we could crank up the input levels. Where there are separate sources, the mic'd speaker is indicated at the end of the filename (i.e., ends in 'DS-rec' = David Sablan recording). As a convenience, we have also adjusted the volume and combined recordings of this sort into time-aligned L and R channels (filed ending in 'combined'). If there are multiple copies of the ELAN files, the most recent versions are more complete or may contain additional tagging.
