Abstract

Description

Recording location is an underdeveloped aspect of language documentation, even though such records provide crucial contextualization to documentation efforts and their language data. Our multidisciplinary initiative integrates analogue geodata from a legacy documentation collection in a digital geospatial representation. This new analytical framework enables exploration of collections in spatiotemporal perspective.
