Abstract

Description

Sinasina Sign Language (SSSL) is a sign language indigenous to Chimbu province. SSSL signers have been recruited and trained in technological skills in the ongoing documentation of this language. We address setbacks and successes in such and argue that there is significant need for further sign language documentation in PNG. (session 4.1.4)
