Genre: Tale/myth. Title: Diji. Ngole Dhokane, a grandmother from Kampong Ndeo, tells the well-known fairytale Diji, which is both a human's name and an edible plant. This Palu'e folk tale is narrated by several persons (Paula Paji, Petrus Baga, Bernadetta Paji, Tole Dhu'a and others), all different, and some are titled Deba Lenu Lena after a character that is saved by the eagle in some versions. In this version there is no eagle. Recorded in her home in the kind of basement, early afternoon 16 June 2015 with the AT2020 mic. With HR. Only the opening is transcribed and translated. .
