He talks about Pālama versus Kapālama, the latter being a place where birth was given to persons of royal rank. HM talks about a song he wrote for Pālama, and various places mentioned in his song; the other places in the area. He talks about the royal chiefs mentioned in his song who battle in the area. HM talks about his song “Huakaʻi Hele Mai Honolulu i Hilo.”
