Brief excerpt from interview: Some things lend themselves to being place-based much better. There's a woman out in West Oʻahu teaching physics or math who is teaching celestial navigation and currents so it's all tied in.

This item includes a segment of an an instructor interview in a Writing Intensive course in Geology & Geophysics at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2014 and in this clip the interviewee is speculating on which majors might lend themselves to place-based learning.
