Abstract

Brief excerpt from interview: [The course] is designed around developing an entire swine production plan... We used to do this as a make-up-a-farm project and students came back with all kinds of far-flung ideas which had no connection in reality... I found farms on the island that were willing to work with the students... and students had to describe the farm that they worked with... That was the point, that they could see... more than one answer.
