A Medolic Process for Architecture

Abstract

The intent of this study is to explore and introduce a new and enjoyable methodology for the design process of architecture through the incorporation of an emotional analysis of melody. The goal for this investigation is not only to further explore relationships between music and architecture, but more importantly, to better understand ways of strengthening the emotional connection between people and architecture. This investigation will explore a possibility of ways in which an emotional analysis of melody can be applied into the design process of architecture, with the ultimate goal of enriching the experience in architecture.The intent of this study is to explore and introduce a new and enjoyable methodology for the design process of architecture through the incorporation of an emotional analysis of melody.
