Abstract
In the following I have attempted to introduce the set concepts of belonging or membership, union and intersection to young children through story, with the heaviest emphasis on “belonging.” This primary grade child is egocentric therefore the story deals with one child and his problem. I have used Hawaiian names, again because the young child first learns about himself and his environment.
