Description

This talk presents a class project in which linguistics students edited Wikipedia entries on endangered and underdocumented languages. Intentionally focused on social justice and student engagement, the instructor documents student struggles with unfamiliar languages, technologies, and content while critically examining language documentation, knowledge access, naming conventions, and resource allocation.
