Abstract

Description

Genre: Medicine/huru. Fenixia Wio, kampong Kolibewa, Ropa (Lio), where there live many Palu'e volcanic eruption regugees, tells her 'huru pothi' (totally different from Bhaso Nona's; she does not use a bottle, but a mini bow with string). This huru, with the bow, is hung with 'sau lemane', in a crop tree. The affliction, bad swollenness, open blisters and swollen limbs, is cured with chewed areca nut and piper betel, 'sau lemane' and 'moro'. Recorded with the AT Lavalier mic (loud, but this is a good recording, no touch by shirt or wrong rec level) by Pidu Sophune 10 Nov -15 in the afternoon at her new refugee (from Rokarenda eruption) house there. With Weku,Michael Betu, Sawerus Dio, (Felicia Tuji?) and Sederhanus Deonelonggus. Picture of bow and medicine..
