This is a recording of a husband and wife, Marzuki and Ruqayah at their house in the village of Pondok Perasi. Marzuki is a 42 year old man who was born in Kampung Melayu, a neighboring village. He moved to Pondok Prasi in when he was eight years old. He works as a van driver whose route is around western Lombok. He ever worked in Malaysia for a few years. Ruqaiyah is a 42 year old woman who originally is from central Lombok. She moved to Pondok Prasi when she was a little kid. She never left the island. They are talking about their simple life in the fasting month, their sympathy for their daughter's family condition and the financial need for their child's school. The recording ends with Khairunnisa collecting metadata from the speakers. Herjan assisted with the recording. Video recorded on Canon VIXIA HFG40, audio on Marantz PMD561 with an Audio Technica AT8022 Stereo Microphone.
