Abstract

The evolution and development of life forms on Earth have been subject to the constancy and persistence of gravity (Thompson, 1942). Because gravity undoubtedly influences many biological processes, the reduction or absence of this influence would be expected to have far reaching effects. With the arrival of the space age and man's attempt to inhabit this new and vast environment the nature of the effects of hypogravity have become the subject of exploration and study.
