Brief excerpt from interview: I want [the students] to learn to both accept and dispute what they're finding. Because I want them to do that with themselves, but I want them to do that also with stuff that they are encountering outside of themselves.

This item includes a segment of an an instructor interview in a Writing Intensive course in Social Work at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2013 and in this clip the interviewee is explaining the idea behind journal critiques.
