Spirit Line represents intangible relationships that connect us all. It expresses my gratitude for a personal connection I have to the American Southwest with Native Americans and others. For me this connection is a blessing that resides beyond my physical existence. Japanese paper from my own heritage and horsehair from the American Southwest-both cultural references--together embody my hopes and prayers. Spirit Line aligns with the quietness within ourselves and invites awareness of individual lines that form a world tapestry.
