| dc.description | Genre: Fairy tale/myth. Title: Dau hene (Six persons). Lengu Nandene (b. 1916) tells a fairy story-myth about six children who fool their parents by the sea. They disappear at sea in order to become the star sign 'Wunu', a six- or seven star constellation, which is used to mark the agricultural cycles. The story is also called Dau bitu (Seven persons, to be uploaded), possibly because the Evening star is included, or because it is The Pleiades (Seven Sisters), of which it is possible to spot up to 12 stars. Seven of the twelve stars can be discerned on clear nights outside of the cities, but often only six are visible. See for instance Anastasia Roja’s version (SD1-321).
