Abstract
An experiment was conducted on Single Comb White Leghorn hens to compare the effects of ground corn, corn starch, corn oil, sucrose, and beef tallow on the synthesis and storage of lipids. Each diet contained 16 percent protein and 2893 Kcal ME/Kg, 11.1 percent of which was supplied by one of the five energy supplements.
