An Oahu woman describes her family life and her work as a faculty member at UH Manoa teaching ceramics, design and weaving. She also mentions differences between faculty comraderie when she first got hired to the 90s and also the difficulties in hiring teachers for the art department. She also speaks about the East-West center and it's impact on foreign students finding jobs after graduation and about the success of her past students in finding careers.
