Kānaka Maoli living in the diaspora are a growing population which face hurdles in access to ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi education and Hawaiian identity. Through the use of surveys, we explore the unique challenges faced in accessing ‘ōlelo Hawaiʻi education for Kānaka Maoli living in the diaspora.
