Genre: Folk tale. Title: Nusa Tale no'o Mbu Ritu (or Nusa Tale, Mbu Ritu, Mbakorao). Toji Kandane (upper middle age, skilled weaver, kampong Ko'a) tells a folk tale; Nusa Tale no'o Mbu Ritu. Tale, from Ko’a, goes to purchase a wife from Java, Mbu ritu. Later there is a triangular drama with Mbakorao, the nanny-helper in Tale’s house, who wants to be Tale's wife, by replacing Mbu Ritu. A version of the tale is also told by Lengu Nande (Kondi, Mburiti, Mbakorao). Recorded with the AT2020 mic by SD 12 June 2015 in Kanda's and Toji's home during a three-day Ko’a (ceremonial domain) visit. With Kanda Séra, Wéka and lakimosa Sundu. The tale, or versions, are also told by Lengu Nandene, Petrus Baga, and Ngei du'a (or Nggei du'a).
