Abstract

Description

This study examines the realization of phonemic vowel length in educational materials for Itza', a critically endangered Mayan language. This research presents a phonetic description of learning materials available to L2 learners, providing insights on the input required to maintain vowel length contrasts with limited resources outside of immersion schools.
