| dc.description | Genre: Medicine/huru. Matteus Mboi, hamlet Tetu reti, Uwa, explains his 'huru lo wetho' (huru "lower intestine fall out"). He tells the cure to the disease/affliction swollen anus and intestines hanging out or hemorrhage. He speaks about a female victim and he uses three amounts (lots it seems) of ginger in the cure. Chewed and applied (no sirih pinang mentioned, but is it used?). He prays to Hera Wula Watu Thana, the Sun Moon Stone Earth god/sum of ancestors of Palu'e animism. And "prayed for" water (ancestors)). With a long traditional prayer, 'bhulu wa'o'. Recorded by Pidhu Sophune (Ebbe) 8 Nov 2015 outside his home at 3 pm with the AT Lavalier mic (unfortunately, because several of the recordings he made with that mic are too loud, noisy, affected by wind and touch. So keep the volume low!). Later we never used it again. With Mboi's wife Ola and daughter Nona. Original file cut at 01:15 min. Picture. Notes: Curse (can be). Massage with ginger. Lots of prayer.
