Brief excerpt from interview: We had a hard time finding previous resources [for] a research paper. Some of them were locked up [behind paywalls]... Condensing what we did see into a not-overwhelming paper was the trickiest part... when I did have a word count challenge, it was bringing it down under the word count.

This item includes a segment of a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in Geology & Geophysics at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
