"Prepared for Engineering Division, Department of Land and Natural Resources, State of Hawaii"
"[DLNR], Engineering Division, contracted Oceanit to plug two geothermal wells in Puna, KAI-1 and SOH-4. Oceanit subcontracted the Geothermal Resource Group to assist in the highly specialized technical aspects of the well plugging job. As the job progressed it became evident that the drilling site would also need to be partially restored. To aid in this effort, Oceanit subcontracted Park Engineering to provide a topographic map of the KA1-1 well site and reservoir basin. Oceanit used this information to design a grading plan for the site. In addition, Oceanit obtained the necessary permits for the plugging and site restoration. These permits including an Individual NPDES, County grading permit and well abandonment permits."
