Abstract:This report covers the survey of village officers (or representatives). The objectives of the survey include (1) obtaining information regarding usage of the tidal flat area by the village, (2) obtaining a list of marine life harvested from the tidal flat and its usage, and (3) recording changes in the harvestable seafood of the tidal flat area during the last four years. People interviewed in the seven villages adjacent to the proposed mullet farm site: (1) Koloa, (2) Holeva, (3) Tu' anekivale, (4) Ta' anea, (5) Ha'alaufuli, (6) Ha'akio, (7) Houma. In the survey of village officers, occasionally an individual was not available for the interview. In his absence, a village representative was queried.
