Description:Competence in multiple languages spoken in neighboring communities is a widespread feature among speakers of endangered languages. Small-scale multilingual practices can be revealing of relationships that a monolingual approach to language documentation would obscure. This workshop will provide both theoretical grounding and practical suggestions for the documentation of such practices.
