Description
We describe a collaborative project to develop a graphic novel with an augmented reality interface for Blackfoot youth. The novel integrates culturally relevant Blackfoot vocabulary into English phrases. Creating this code-mixed text required combining the knowledge of a proficient Blackfoot speaker, a learner, an Indigenous youth advocate, and a linguist.
