Welcome to the Software Technology (ST) Track. This year we 92 submissions to 17 minitracks in the ST Track. Besides the 9 papers by Minitrack Chairs which were reviewed separately, all papers were reviewed within their own minitracks. The overall acceptance rate was around 50% for the larger minitracks. Some themes of this year's conference include software development process, cybersecurity, and mobile and edge computing.

Although this year's conference is virtual given the pandemic, we hope to see you in person next year. As usual, please consider proposing new minitracks you like to lead in cutting edge areas of Software Technology.

This year's ST Minitracks are below:

Agile and Lean: Organizations, Products, and Development. Focuses on some key concepts of "Agile and Lean," including the metrics for project status and success and how the use of lean can be integrated within an agile approach. Papers include experiences from industry.

Blockchain Engineering. Addresses the challenges arising from the paradigm shift and the 'nuts and bolts' of engineering a blockchain system for enterprises that can fundamentally change how business value is created, discovered, and realized. This year, a number of papers focus on evaluation of the design of blockchain tools.

Cellular and Wireless Networks. Focuses on the design and analysis of cellular and wireless networks, and on the applications of such networks in solving real-world challenges and securely connecting people and devices. This year's minitrack has several papers on trust, security, and privacy.

Co-Development with Software and Business Engineering Frameworks and Methods. Explores how plan-driven, change-driven or hybrid frameworks, methods and tools are selected, integrated, and deployed to align, synchronize and/or control software development, business development, business process development, project and program management, and innovation management.

Computational Intelligence and State-Of- The-Art Data Analytics. Focuses on use of AI and Data Science to detect and analyze real-time data streams for attacks and intrusions. A new minitrack, this year’s papers analyze the use of Machine Learning.

Cyber Operations, Defence, and Forensics. Focuses on cyber operations, defenses, and digital forensics solutions to detect, mitigate, and analyze the source and nature of threats.

Cyber Systems: Their Science, Engineering, and Security. Focuses on multi-disciplinary research aiming to provide a rigorous, effective, and innovative approach to developing and securing cyber systems, including industrial control systems.

Cybersecurity and Software Assurance. Explores the foundations of software assurance to improve dependability by providing the foundations, technologies, and practices that can improve the security and dependability of complex systems.

Decentralized Federated Learning: Applications, Solutions, and Challenges. Explores federated learning methods with a particular emphasis on open-source solutions to build decentralized data and training that brings learning to the edge or on-device in order preserve privacy or overcome scalability limitations of centralized solutions.

Internet of Things Security: Cyberassurance For Edge, Software Defined, and Fog Computing Systems. Focuses on Cyber-Assurance theory, application, embedded security, and machine-learning for the Internet of Things (IoT), Edge computing, software-defined networks (SDN)/network function virtualization (NFV) and Fog computing architectures based on theoretical aspects and studies of practical applications.

Machine Learning and Cyber Threat Intelligence and Analytics. Focuses on innovations in techniques and tools to perceive, reason, learn and act on a wide range of data collected from different attack (or attempts), sophisticated advanced persistent threat campaigns.

Neurose: Neurophysiological and Psychophysiological Assessment in Software Engineering. Explores the use of neurophysiological and psychophysiological measurements, for example electroencephalography (EEG), pupil dilation, or galvanic skin response (GSR) to get a more direct assessment of the impact of the software engineering practices on software engineers and others involved in the process.

Security and Privacy Aspects of Human- Computer-Interactions: Explores concepts, prototypes, and evaluations of how users interact with information systems and what implications these interactions have for information security and data privacy.

Smart City Application Development: Challenges and Experiences. Focuses on how the concepts and ideas of Smart Applications are realized, especially from a software engineering point of view.

Software Development for Mobile Devices, The Internet-Of-Things, and Cyber-Physical Systems. Focuses on the technological background of mobile computing while keeping an eye on business value, user experience, and domain-specific issues.

Software Survivability: Strategies for Long- Lasting and Usable Research Software. Focuses on the broad spectrum of submissions that deal with complex scenarios such as containerization, strategies for long-lasting software, usability and user interface issues, handling data curation and provenance and more.

Systems and Applications of Video Analytics. Research in issues with systems and applications that incorporate real-time video analytics and/or offline video processing, and intelligent management and storage of visual data.
