Abstract
This paper is a review of population education in the Asia region, with an emphasis on programs within the formal educational system. The authors describe the general development of population education in Asia as a region and identify the common elements of the various national programs. Topics covered include problems of conceptualization, population education methodology and content, in-service training of teachers, and research and evaluation.
