Welcome to the Software Technology (ST) Track. This year we are proud to have a total of 16 minitracks on a wide variety of topics:

Agile and Lean: Organizations, Products and Development: focuses on some key concepts of “agile and lean”, including the metrics for project status and success and how the use of lean can be integrated within an agile approach.

Blockchain Engineering: aims at providing a forum for addressing the challenges arising from the paradigm shift and the “how to” of engineering a blockchain system for enterprises that can fundamentally change how business value is created, discovered, and realized.

Cellular and Wireless Networks: is focused on the issues that arise in designing and building cellular and wireless networks, and on the applications of such networks in solving real-world challenges and securely connecting people and devices.

Cyber-Physical Information Systems: aims at aspects in the chain of processing where we find sensor based systems that communicate, preprocess data and react to feedback.

Cyber-Assurance for Internet of Things, Software- Defined Networks, and Fog Computing Architectures: aims to increase the visibility of current research and emergent trends in Cyber- Assurance for the Internet of Things (IoT), softwaredefined networks (SDN) and Fog computing architectures.

Cybersecurity and Software Assurance: explores the foundations of software assurance to improve dependability. The goal is to develop foundations, technologies, and practices that can improve the security and dependability of complex systems.

Cybersecurity Investigations and Digital Forensics: Identifying and validating technical solutions to access data from new technologies, investigating the impact that these solutions have on the industry, and understanding how technologies can be abused.

Designing Digitally Responsible System, Software and Services Engineering: addresses solutions that will enable users to take control of their digital fate or at least ensure that “by design” system and service providers address such digital sustainability goals at the heart of a digitally responsible society.

Machine Learning and Cyber-Threat Intelligence and Analytics: focuses on research with an emphasis on techniques and tools to perceive, reason, learn and act on a wide range of data collected from attacks (or attempts), sophisticated persistent threat campaigns, etc.

Security and Privacy Aspects of Human-Computer Interaction: explores concepts, prototypes, and evaluations of how users interact with information systems and what implications these interactions have for information security and data privacy.

Self-adaptive systems: Technologies, Domains, Principles, and Practices: focuses on self-adaptation principles and practices as they relate to the development of autonomous systems.

Smart (City) Application Development: Challenges and Experiences: focuses on how the concepts and ideas of Smart Applications are realized, especially from a software engineering point of view.

Software Development for Mobile Devices, the Internet-of-Things, and Cyber-Physical Systems: is devoted to the technological background of mobile computing while keeping an eye on business value, user experience, and domain-specific issues.

Software Survivability: Strategies for Long-Lasting and Usable Research: focuses on the broad spectrum of submissions that deal with complex scenarios such as containerization, strategies for long-lasting software, usability and user interface issues, handling data curation and provenance and more.

Systems and Applications of Video Analytics: examines issues with systems and applications that incorporate: real-time video analytics and/or offline video processing, and intelligent management and storage of visual data.

The Science and Engineering of Cyber Systems: explores the application of the principles of scientific inquiry or engineering to all areas related to cyber systems, particularly those that emphasize crossdisciplinary approaches to cyber challenges.
