Abstract:We demonstrate how faculty use efficient and effective assessment of learning to improve the written and oral communication outcomes and products of undergraduate student research. Faculty observed a high level of student achievement and a large impact on female students. This assessment effort also offers programmatic and curricular improvement opportunities.
