"This report presents the results of our foundation investigation performed for the Proposed Parking Structure and New Progressive Health Care Building for Kuakini Hospital, to be located on the southern side of the hospital. the proposed construction would include a parking structure and a progressive health care building. The parking structure would include eight parking levels, of which seven wiII be above grade and one below grade. ... The new progressive heaith care building is understood to be eight stories high, including one basement. The configuration for this structure has not been finalized at this time. Finish floor elevation is believed to be 52 feet Mean Sea Level. ... this study included the following: I) To generally define the location and extent of the various types of materials underlying the site; 2) To evaluate the engineering properties of the subsurface material encountered; and 3) To make foundation-related recommendations to aid in design and construction of the proposed facilities."
