|Description:||Genre: Medicine/huru: Warsoni Methi's 'huru bhapha' recorded by images and videoclip only, with the Olympus PEN-1 camera. 'Huru bhapha is a more common 'huru'. There are several other recoprdings in the collection, each a little different. Cure: chew 'haja' bark, rice (probably allowed and better to use paddy grains, 'siwe'). The chewed mixture is then applied to the swollen body parts, in this case the chin of little Huke, daughter to Methi. Toothache, or just terrible itching o the chin (in which case it would be 'huru mero' perhaps). Videoclip (mp4), image series (jpg files in PDF): Recorded 18 June -15, with only my Olympus PM1 camera (focus not perfect).|
